1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or placing an order on tygstore.com (the “Site”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or place an order.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Site is operated by Tick Your Gown Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Tick Your Gown Limited trading as TYG.

3. Products and Availability

We sell graduation gowns, academic regalia, and related accessories. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.

Product images on the Site are for illustrative purposes only. Colours may vary slightly due to photography, screen calibration, and fabric dye lots. These variations do not constitute a defect.

 

4. Custom and Made-to-Order Items

Many of our products are made-to-order, including graduation gowns produced or selected according to size, colour, institutional specification, or personalisation. By placing an order for such items, you acknowledge that:

•       Custom items are specifically produced and cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or incorrectly fulfilled by us

•       It is your sole responsibility to verify sizing, colour selection, and specifications before completing your order

•       We accept no liability for errors arising from incorrect information provided at the time of ordering

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Prices include complimentary shipping but exclude any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes payable by the buyer in the destination country.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If an error is identified after your order is placed, we will contact you before processing. You may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout. We do not store card details; all payment processing is handled by our payment provider in a PCI-DSS compliant environment.

 

6. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without penalty before production or dispatch has commenced. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at tyg.hk@gmail.com with your order number.

Once an order has entered production or been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, our Return and Refund Policy applies.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, product designs, and branding — is the property of Tick Your Gown Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Tick Your Gown Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

 

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all products are provided on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of products for a particular purpose beyond what is stated in the product listing.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your own jurisdiction, which these Terms do not override.

 

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
